Diving in Bangka

Bangka situated on the north-tip of Sulawesi is another top diving destination near Manado. We offer a unique opportunity for you to dive in coral reefs, stunning underwater pinnacles, walls, caverns, sea grass, sandy bays, muck diving, all with a barrage of diversity waiting to entice.

Dive Center

  • The dive center is equipped with a classroom, 20 sets of rental equipment, one hundred 12 liter aluminum bottles, with Din or Int valves so adapters are not necessary.
  • For an additional cost, there are ten 15 liter bottles and nitrox.
  • Diving courses ranging from beginner to Divemaster and various specialty courses are taught in German, English and French.
  • We teach according to PADI standards.
  • Private guides can be requested for a surcharge.
  • The modern filling station, which is divided into two compartments with two compressors provide the air or nitrox for our dives.

Team

  • All guides have at least 2 years of experience guiding in the area.
  • All speak English.

Diving

  • There are two dives in the morning and one dive in the afternoon, the dives usually take 75 minutes.
  • The dive boats are all equipped with oxygen, medic first aid, Spare box and a toilet and on the roof you can enjoy the sun and work on your tan. Towels with individual name tags are provided.
  • In the breaks between the dives we serve fruit, pastries, water, tea and coffee.
  • The equipment is all carried on and off the boat by our staff. It’s also washed by our staff after your dives.
  • Fresh water tanks for underwater cameras are available on board.
  • The entrance to the boat goes over the specially built jetty, which protrudes into the reef.
  • House reef dives are available and starts directly from the jetty and should be finished there at the end of the dive. Equipment is provided directly on the jetty. Both guided and unguided house reef dives are offered.

Please note: That for unguided house reef dives a minimum of 100 logged dives and an Advanced diver certificate or similar is need.
